Nintendo has won another battle against R4 /R4i Cards after won the battle in UK in 2010. The Court of Appeals in France is now "recognizing that these accessories infringe the intellectual property of Nintendo, infringe the trademark, bypass DRM and facilitate the counterfeiting of games." Once again the R4 has been mentioned by name.The Managing Director of Nintendo France said:
"Nintendo supported this criminal action not only for the company’s sake, but for the interests of its game developer partners who spend time and money legitimately developing software for Nintendo’s game platforms, and customers who expect the highest standards and integrity from products bearing the Nintendo name."
